None of us had been to this long established local steakhouse, and we finally got the opportunity for my birthday. The reviews were accurate: the food and service were top notch. Our server had worked local gems, including John’s Prime Rib and Huy’s. The decor is old school ornate but it is what makes the place classy and cool at the same time. There’s definitely not another place like it here. We had drinks (old fashion, beer, Caesar, Shiraz), mains (tenderloin, lamb, ribs), and dessert (crème brûlée). There were also 3 rooms at the back for larger parties — 2 could open and be used together. I will definitely be back. Thank you for making my birthday special.
Flanagan’s Steakhouse offers a refined dining experience that focuses on quality ingredients and classic steakhouse execution. The atmosphere feels upscale but comfortable, making it suitable for special occasions or a relaxed fine-dining evening. Steaks were cooked as requested, well-seasoned, and served hot, with sides that complemented the main dishes nicely. Service was attentive and professional without feeling stiff or rushed. With its strong rating and smaller review count, it feels like a place that values consistency and detail, making it a solid choice for anyone looking for a polished steakhouse meal.
I recently had dinner at Flanagan’s in Saskatoon and it was an excellent experience. I ordered the steak and lobster, and the meal was fantastic. The real standout for me was the Caesar salad, which they make table side. In my opinion, it’s the best Caesar salad in the city! The service was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere made for a great evening. Highly recommend Flanagan’s if you’re looking for a great dining experience in Saskatoon!
